Eraser problems when deleting many files

Description

I was able to reproduce the problem more than once.

Any time I try to erase for example 408 images with a file name like "1oUifr806511-02.jpg" it will only erase 268 images, the rest of the 140 images need to be erased by selecting them again and repeating the sending to the eraser program.

I repeat the experience 2 times in the second time I put 400 files with the same type of name "1oUifr806511-02.jpg" and try to erase them all, again it only erased 268 images the rest of 132 images stay their. To erase the rest I need to select the rest and send it again.

The other time (3 time) I send it to the erased, and it erased all the files.

I found the problem: in the first two times the files were inside the following path: "C:\Documents and Settings\Home\Os meus documentos\As minhas imagens\Nova pasta\Nova pasta" the third time (that erased all files correctly) it was in "C:\tst".

If the total: file path's + file name's it's to large it will not erase everything.

  • Milestone set to Eraser 6.0.8

  • Status changed from new to closed
  • Resolution set to wontfix

This particular problem doesn't seem to be due to file names being too long, it looks more like the permissions of the file prevent any erasures.
