Task Property Window - Add tab to view logs

Description

On the task property screen it would be good to add a new tab so that the task's logs can be shown.

When you click on the tab then the same design/functionality as the current "View task log" is done.

  • Milestone set to Eraser 6.0.7

Hmm, but wouldn't the Task Property Form be a place to edit things, where as the View Task Log Form is a place to read log messages alone? Could you cite an example where the logs were included in the properties page? They seem to be different/separate actions to me....

I see your point.

I suppose it comes down the how the options are displayed for tasks as from the main form as I was changing a task but whilst changing the task I wanted to check the logfiles but couldn't without going in/out of the various forms.

Perhaps some logfile settings need to be setup (locally to tasks or global settings) so that these can be controlled, such as only keep X last log entries, automatically removed after X days etc.

Okay, where would you place the settings? Locally or globally?

Btw, I'm going to target this for 6.2 since 6.0 is on feature freeze.
